After 30 years of impactful ministry within the mall The Marketplace Chapel closed its doors in June of 2016 and West Edmonton Christian Assembly took over as new tenants in the same space. We have worked closely with past volunteers and directors as we re-envisioned the chapel and we are tremendously grateful for the three decades of ministry the Marketplace Chapel provided the mall. We fully recognise that we stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us and we are thankful for the opportunity to build upon the foundation already laid.
The Chapel is unique in its style and approach; we recognise that we are not for everybody but we do what we do so we can reach the somebody’s who might never walk through the doors of a traditional church building. We are not a church in and of itself but rather a part of a larger church family called West Edmonton Christian Assembly. We consider the WECA CHAPEL a campus of West Edmonton Christian Assembly.
